expat.fyi provides plain English explanations of German official letters. You upload a letter, we explain it, you decide what to do next.
Not legal advice

Refunds
If we cannot explain your letter — for example, because it is outside the scope of what we handle — you will not be charged. If you have already paid and this happens, email us and we will refund you in full.
Payment
Payment is processed by Lemon Squeezy, who act as the Merchant of Record. Their terms apply to the payment transaction.
Right to refuse service
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time. We won't do this arbitrarily, but we need to say it.
Changes to these terms
If we update these terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service means you accept any changes.
